Right after high school. He started his theatre career in Mumbai in 2002. Started by volunteering backstage and then found interest in acting and writing.
He simultaneously acted on television in a few small roles.

But he still was curious and wanted to take a closer feel at other skills in television and films.
That's when he found an opportunity in film and television production. He says he liked that as a production executive he got to be part of script readings to budget meetings.
He would be the first to arrive on set and last to leave. This part of his experience allowed him to take deeper dive into almost all aspects of filmmaking.
He says with With bigger dreams he came to Canada and after seeing even bigger bills he took up a white-collar job. He had to start from zero.

Suddenly survival became the most important goal. In his own words "I had to take a break from what I loved. But although the creative person in me was not talking it was listening. It wasn't performing but it was observing. So even when I was on a forced sabbatical the creative cells were alive and growing. With so much to share I decided to come back to the stage where it all began"
